Prince William and Kate Middleton exchanged their vows before the Archbishop of Canterbury, Rowan Williams, at Westminster Abbey on Friday (April 29) in London, England.
The couple was pronounced husband and wife as 1 million people packed the streets and an estimated 2 billion more watched across the globe.
Queen Elizabeth II has conferred the bride and groom with the new titles ofWilliam, Duke of Cambridge andCatherine, Her Royal Highness the Duchess of Cambridge. They will not take the titles of Prince and Princess until the current Prince of Wales becomes King.
FYI: Kate’s dress was designed bySarah Burton for Alexander McQueen, a Cartier “Halo” Tiara, custom-made earrings byRobinson Pelham, and a wedding band by Wartski.
